I own a small business. I enjoy reading in my down time. It helps me relax. I am very envious of the many fine authors on live journal. I didn't know about lj until I had neck surgery in Aug 07 and had to spend so much time on my couch. I started surfing the internet when I couldn't sleep or get around well.

I think that I have subsitituted the fanfiction for the narcotic pain meds I was on before my surgery. I think fanfiction is much healthier than getting addicted to pain meds, even if I can't sleep, at least I have lots of very interesting things to imagine while trying to drift off. Thanks to the authors who post their work.

I enjoy the picspams and manips also.

I actually mostly read SPN now, but I have a few authors that I follow in my original fandom, LOTR and in the next fandom I followed, BtVS for anything to do with Spike. So I still read in 3 fandoms.

If you look at my LJ Master Fic Post at the top of my LJ you will notice that I mostly write SPN Wincest, but I do write some SPN Het, and also some Spike fics, and even a little femme-slash here and there. I will read J2, but at this time do not write it.

I try to keep my SPN fics grounded in canon, even if a fic is 99% smut there is going to be that 1% canon Dean/Sam from the show.

The other thing that I have been writing is lots of drabbles. I started writing drabbles as a lark and then it seemed like a really good exercise in learning how to say much with a finite amount of words. While my drabbles are mostly Wincest, about 25% of my drabbles are either SPN Gen or SPN Weechester fics. The drabble links are contained within my Master Fic Post right at the very top.
